Financial support UkrCash
UKRCASH is a comprehensive support program for Ukrainian citizens in Georgia, which is implemented with the support of the German Federal Foreign Office and partners ASB Georgia, The Samaritan Association of Georgia, Unite Together. The aim of the program is to support, first and foremost, the most vulnerable and socially disadvantaged categories of citizens.
The UkrCash program provides monthly financial support to 2400 Ukrainians in difficult financial situations in the amount of 255 GEL per person, provided that they meet at least one of the vulnerability criteria and arrived in Georgia after February 1, 2022:
A - seriously ill, with disabilities or disabilities (with documents available)
B - over 60 years old (by date of birth)
C - large family (3 or more children under 18 years of age) D - single mother/father raising minor children on their own
Every month, Ukrainian families are in contact with their coordinator according to their place of residence. “Hhresnik” - as the project staff is called - monitors the rules for fulfilling all the conditions for participation in the program, as well as provides information and support to Ukrainian families, and facilitates their integration in Georgia.
The UkrCash project is an example of strong and long-term cooperation with our partners, as its launch was announced in September 2022 and has been going on for two years in a row. You can read reports on the assistance provided, as well as interesting interviews with project participants, on our social media pages.
*This activity was made possible solely thanks to the financial support of GFFO and ASB Georgia, and was implemented within the framework of the project "Emergency Humanitarian Assistance to Conflict-Affected Citizens of Ukraine" UT in partnership with SSK.
